Normally, earbuds auto-disconnect from the phone's Bluetooth when put back in the charging case. If not, it's usually because the case fails to recognize that the earbuds are charging. Without this recognition, the earbuds can't power off, so they can't disconnect from the device.

Confirm:

Observe The Indicator Light of The Earbuds

Normal status:

  • The light turns on when the earbuds are placed in the charging case.
  • The earbuds automatically turn off.
  • The Bluetooth connection is disconnected.

Solution:

  • 1. Scrape off oxidized parts on the surface of the earbuds and charging case with a small knife.
  • 2. Wrap a toothpick with an alcohol swab and gently clean the charging contacts 3 - 5 times. Then put them back in the case and charge for 10 minutes.
  • The connection remains persistent.
